Nutty Granola
Ingredients
3 cup(s) oats, rolled, old-fashioned
1/2 cup(s) nuts, walnuts, halves
1/2 cup(s) nuts, almonds, chopped
1/2 cup(s) nuts, pecans, chopped
1/2 cup(s) maple syrup
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
1/2 cup(s) raisins, (optional)
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 300 F. Coat a large baking sheet with cooking spray.
In a medium bowl, combine all the ingredients, mixing well to coat everything
with the maple syrup. Spread the mixture onto the baking sheet and bake until
golden brown, stirring occasionally, about 30 minutes.
Transfer the sheet to a wire rack and let cool completely. Store in the
refrigerator in an airtight container for about 2 weeks.
Makes 4 1/2 cups.
Serving size: 1/2 cup
