Making A Blush On Cheeks

Here is what we are going to make the Blush on the cheeks, this is the way I do it.

First what I do is color the face of the image and then I go and make a new layer so if you look to the layers you will see I have 2.

Here I will add my color to the new layer you will notice I use the square shape and my numbers are the following with this image, It will change with different images that you use.

Now what I do is I go to Adjust on top and go to Blur and click on Gaussian blur and I went to the number 3 to see if I like this or not.

Here is what Gaussian Blur  number 4 looks like it fades it out more and makes a soft look I think.

Here I have it the 100% size and I sit back and see if this is the look I am looking for.

Here I am going to add a dot in a cream color on a new layer so now I have 3 layers one with the image, one with just the cheek color and one now with a cream dot.  What I will do with that I am going to make the dot not so bright so I am going to change the numbers on that layer so I will play with the opacity and move it from 100 down to where I like it.  I will then zoom to 100% the image and see if that is what I want.  When I like what I see I then go to layers merge visible and then continue on to painting the rest of my image.

Here is what it looks like at 100 % I like my cheeks that I did.

Here is my finish image all painted up
